What is Black Equity?
Focusing on health and wellness, the mission of Black Equity
is to advance equity in Frederick County, Maryland’s Black community by creating safe and supportive space, both physical and virtual, for our people to thrive. We are committed to addressing determinants of health, the greatest of which is racism.
Need Help?
Our Intake Assessment service provides a comprehensive evaluation to help individuals identify resources and services that meet their health needs. A Community Health Worker will make contact and assess your needs. You will be referred to services based on the Black Equity intake assessment.
